Default Why does this happen

And does it happen to anyone else?

I sign in, then hit quick links at the top of the page then new posts. It shows that there are 16 pages of new posts, but after usually 8 pages I get the window telling me no matches found or something along those lines.

I either get to read all 16 pages or exactly 8 pages, Am I being timed and only have X-amount of time to get through the 16 pages, if I take too long.........sorry sucker!

Just curious,
Rick

I am not really sure why it would do that. My hunch is that when you originally do your quick link/new post it returns the 16 pages.

As you go to the next page, it might be doing another lookup search based on time. It does the original lookup and caches the information in memory for you. The cache is set to refresh every 5 minutes (guessing) and when you go to the next page after that 5 minutes, it does another search.

Then it returns the links again, but you said go to the next page too, so it may get confused.

Sounded good, eh!?

I'll pass this to the techs to see how close I may have been and if they have heard of this report.

He could get around it by right clicking and opening all 16 pages up in seperate tabs or windows and then going back and reading them. It's not a perfect solution but it would work.
