Default Still having problems

Haven't been on the forum for a while since everything you suggested to clear up the problem hasn't worked. Still no pics, happy faces, ect, you get the picture. Nothing you haven't heard before. Kind of takes the fun out of it when someone post pics and I can't see them. I have noticed that on the bottom left corner it say's ( 65 items remaining) downloading picture C5.jpg at images.corvetteforum.com. It stays stuck on that, which I'm pretty sure is why it won't download any pics. Any ideas on whats happening?

No, sorry, I have heard no updates on the situation. I will forward this to the tech section to let them know this information.

No pictures here either. Works OK at work, but my home computer doesn't show the pictures.

From the techs:

Please consider having the user try the following - or at least confirm they have tried the following.

1 - We recommend using IE or Firefox.

2 - Make sure you are using most current versions of IE or Firefox. If you have IE for example - run the windows update and install updates.

3 - Check Personal Preferences in Corvette Forum to ensure that images have not been turned OFF.

4 - Disable/Remove all Pop Up blocker software/apps.

5 - Logout out completely from Corvette Forum.

6 -
In I.E. go to “tools” -> “internet options” -> under the section temporary internet files click “delete files”.

In FireFox go to “tools” -> “options” -> “privacy” tab -> “cache” -> “clear cache now”.
Once this is done, close all browser windows, reopen them, and try performing the action that they were unable to do beforehand.

7 - If that does not solve the issue, go back to internet options, delete the cookies, close the browser window, reopen in and try again.

8 - If that does not solve the issue, delete all temporary internet files and try creating a new account to see if the same thing happens.

If the same issue appears with the new profile as well, try another computer.

If the issue appears on the other computer as well, send us the username and password so that we can give it a try.

Default for ie

First, Try this:

Verify that Show Pictures has not been turned off in Internet Explorer: a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
b. Click the Advanced tab, and then verify that the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia. (and make sure "show image download placeholders" is UN-checked)
c. Click Apply / OK.

For a fuller explanation try:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=283807

2nd, try this;
You need to see if the problem is in the browser or in your security settings/software. As a test you can try reseeting the security level to LOW
Tools menu, click Internet Options > Security > custom level > reset to > low (usually i run at Medium, but as a test ie wide open try low to see if it is browser settings)

3rd, Also if you are running Norton or other firewall utilities you may want to check their settings.

Hope this helps
