Default newbie help

Sorry bout this but when I reply to a post the ability to edit my post goes with it and I've noticed that no one elses does. I tried to find a setting in the members settup area and did not see anything, might have missed it since I'm blind in one eye and can't see out the other. lol
Seriously any help would be great. Thanks in advance

If you mean why do you have an EDIT button for your posts, but there is not one on other member's posts, it is because you are allowed to go back in and update or change the posts YOU make. You cannot edit someone elses.

The other members will see the EDIT button also, but only on their posts.
