Default edit: No way to edit thread title?

Is there no possible way to edit a new thread title once it's been posted?

No way for the thread starter after the second post is made I think. Otherwise a moderator will have to change it.

No other posts have been made yet; I can edit the title, but the edited version only shows up in the thread, not on the forum page. For example, see my first post-I added "edit" to the title, but it only shows up in the thread, and not on the help forum page.

I'm trying to sell a part in the C3 parts forum, but neglected to include FS in the thread title. It seems that would help capture attention better.

I had already posted by the time you tried to change it. So what happened is that you edited the Title in the post and not the title to the thread.

In the C3 section you have the thread, scroll down to the lower right and you should see some moderators for that section. PM them with your link and ask them to edit your thread title. I would but I don't have mod powers there.

I was actually referring to my for sale thread, no one else has posted to it yet, and editing the thread title was exactly as I described above. It only changed the title in the post and not the thread on the forum page. So it seems to me that there is no way to edit a thread title other than asking a Mod to change it.

This is the link to my for sale thread.
