Default Lost subscriptions....?

Guys,

How do I prevent the forum from deleting my subscriptions? I had useful information that is now lost.

I didn't know they would disappear unless you told them to. Were they recent or could they have been sent to archives?

Well, my most recent threads are there but nothing else.

How can I access the archives? All I've ever known was UserCP --> Subscriptions --> List all subscriptions

Threads are automatically moved to archives after a certain period of time (say 3 months on inactivity). I don't know if this happened to you or not.

If it is, once it gets moved it might become detached from the subscription list.

But this is only a hunch. I have had no other reports as of yet.

Maybe subscriptions expire automatically after a period of time.

If you want, I can forward this to a technical area to see if someone there knows.

Please do, thanks. The subscriptions I'm referring to are easily more than 3 months old and it's possible 3 months have passed without me logging in. If there is a way for me to retain my subscriptions from here on out OR even retrieve my old threads, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

By the way, all my old private messages are accessible.

Did anything ever happen here? I've noticed the same problem again. I know it's been awhile since I last logged in.

What's strange is that, this is the only thread that I have in my subscriptions list and I'm certain there were a few others after...?

Any technical issue that is reported now seems to go into a "black hole"...

There are some things that require outside work to get them fixed and it's not included in our deal with Intechnic. So, we have to pay extra to have those things done and Troy would have to request that.

I see the same thing. As the threads get to a certain age (?) they are removed from my sub list. I too think they are being archived but why do they get taken off my list??

There should be a way to save them like bookmarks so they can be referred to later.

I totally agree, but it seems we have to live with it. Possibly a thread on the topic where everyone is going to see it could be a good start?
