Is there a setting I'm not finding to make it default to showing my sig whenever I post?

If I'm sure to check the "show sig" button in the rply window the sig shows, but it seems to be unchecked by default.

I believe it is unchecked by default.

Using a signature in every post eats up bandwidth and most people only post it once per thread. So the default was set to off.

You have one of the SMALLEST sigs in the history of the forum!

Actually, animated avatars have the same rules, 150x150 and 29kb limit.
