Default pic/avatar help

My old pc at work has Windows XP and everything works fine. The harddrive crashed and the pc was replaced with an identicle model. However the settings must be different because I cant see any posted pictures, no avatars or any of those crazy little faces. I figured out the pictures and avatars are "HyperText Transfer Protocol" Anyone know how to display these? Its just not the same on CF without these features.

My guess your using IE, go to your internet settings a walk down through that long list of items to check make sure animated gifs is selected. (That is not the exact name of the option but you'll know when you see it, plus there probably are a few other items that needs to be enabled as well.)

If you are using IE, at the top of the page click Tools, then Internet Options, then the Advanced tab, then scroll down to Multimedia and click the boxes until you get what you want. That will be $25 and I need more coffee breaks.

BTW How's Jet-Jock liking that new vert?

If using IE, go to Tools, Internet Options and delete temporary internet files. Exit the forum, then return.

Next go to UserCP, Edit Options, Scroll to Visible Post Elements and make sure all options are checked.

Let me know the results.

Last resort is to google for Firefox, an up and coming browser, to see if that helps.
