Anybody else having problems with the spell checker?
I just upgraded to IE7 and of course the forum was recently upgraded so I don't know if either is the cause but now when I click the spell checker icon it doesn't perform a spell check. Instead it suggest I should download the program even though it is already installed. The IE7 'Tools' menu shows it and it actually seems to work from that menu but not from the icon in the forum software.

I have no reports of spell checking issues. I am not sure I am aware of a spell check icon in the forum software....where is that? I use Firefox and and spell checker add-on.

You must have been using IESpell. I'm betting that you can no longer right click on the body of the reply to "check spelling"? It was the IE 7 upgrade that broke this. The spell check button in the upper right of the reply box will still work and still activate your IESpell installation, just not available from the right click menu any longer.
The icon is a little ABC with a check mark on the right hand side of the quick reply box. Instead of activating iespell it asks me to download and install it even though it's already installed. It still works from the IE7 'Tools' menu, which is why I thought the issue might be forum related. It's not a bid deal.
In fact I just tried the right click method on this reply and that worked. Funny that the little icon stopped working but I won't lose any sleep over it.

That's odd. From my IE 7 update it broke my right click and left the ABC check button working on the forum. Either way, I just did a reinstall of the latest build 2.5.1. build 106 and both are now working. Hope that helps.
I see no one else has commented on this issue. I just upgraded to IE7 and the check mark ABC on the Reply box only wants to download the IeSpell on my commuter. I did, but it still only wants to download, not check the spelling.
The check ABC on the IE7 toolbar works, the Tools pulldown menu has the IeSpell that works, and my right-click spelling still works.
It is like the link on the reply box doesn't recognize that IeSpell is installed.
