The above statement is what I get when I click on the posts attachment. What do I need to reset to be able to view an attachment?

So you are unable to click this attachment and have the pic appear? Instead, you get the "no permission" message?

The attachment box is empty and when I click it nothing happens.

Make sure you have UserCP / Edit Options / Visible Post Elements all checked.

Do you have a popup blocker on? You may need to allow this in order for it to appear after clicking it.

That's all I can think of at this time. This is a bit different than the message you were getting before.

I turned off the pop-up blocker in IE and my firewall and deleted all the temp internet files. Attachment pictures come up but an excel spreadsheet will not.
Now I do ???

Can you provide the link to the thread with the spreadsheet? I will see if I can open it.

If the spreadsheet was done in Excel 2007, it is not compatible with earlier versions.

I was able to open it. I don't readily know what to try next. I would have said to clear temp internet files but you already did that.

Are you on WinXp? IE7?
