Default Problem accessing CF from the UK?

For the last couple of weeks I\'ve been unable to access the CorvetteForum from my home in the UK. If I visit www.corvetteforum.com the browser just waits....and waits.... and waits with a blank screen. I get no 404 or other HTTP errors - the browser just sits there.

If I ping www.corvetteforum.com I get:
Code:
C:\\>ping www.corvetteforum.com

Pinging www.corvetteforum.com [66.110.24.220] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 66.110.24.220: Destination host unreachable.

    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms
and if I run a tracert I get:

Trace complete.
Can anybody suggest why I can\'t get through? Has my IP block been banned in a firewall or something? (82.69.84.xxx)

Would really appreciate any advice anybody can offer, since I\'m getting bored of using a proxy.

Default Update

For anybody who's interested, I have solved the problem.

It turned out that I had to upgrade the firmware in my (brand new) Linksys WAG200G broadband modem/router. Thank you to my ISP, Zen Internet here in the UK, for their excellent technical support in diagnosing this.

The overall problem may have been caused by the MTU setting in the modem's configuration, so if someone else has similar problems accessing this site, or microsoft.com or aol.com then try changing the MTU from the default 1500 to 1492 or 1458. Apparently microsoft.com and aol.com are sensitive to this obscure network performance setting.
