1. Supporting Members can edit the communities to put whatever they want there, although I think there's a maximum, but I don't remember what it is.
2. You might get more response from the forum if you PM a mod or administrator and ask the question.
3. I suspect they don't want you to be able to put too many section names in the communities, since it would cut down on the number of forum vendors that will be displayed. Don't really know why the C5 & C6 sections would be different in that regard.
EDIT: I just looked. Default is 6 of the 10 C6 sections. There are a total of 8 C5 sections available. Supporting members can select up to 15 sections to go in the communities list.

With 160+ sponsors at least $1,000 a pop, that would be income of $160,000 per year or more. Do they seriously need to nickel dime the members of the forums just to surf the forum? Lets say they have a server cost of $1000 per month (no way on that figure but I'm playing nice), that would be expenses of $12,000 and a profit of.... (you do the math).
The sponsor list on the side will continue down ad infinitum if they add another 100 sponsors.
Is it too hard to let people use the site for free? Why the extra fees for what should be standard stuff on the site. The extra perks can be sold but this is being totally money grubbing to not show the list of forums to choose from.
Good grief! How about charging a fee for the number of letters in the ID?
Yeah yeah, I'm gonna catch hell for this thread but geeze.
