Computer Running Slow?
The last week or so this forum seems to be running slower than in the past on my computer. Is it the forum or my machine?

Its "Ads by Google". I've watched with a packet sniffer, most of the delay is due to fetching the Google ads, particularly the one that shows up on the first post of a thread. It has to fetch before the rest of the thread will load. The one that appears at the bottom of the page is also slow, but at least the thread above it loads so you can be reading before the last ad finally downloads.
