Default FEEDBACK: Advertisements

This is the 'Help & Feedback' section, but for whatever reason, an actual 'Feedback' forum doesn't exist, so I'll just use this one to provide my feedback. If this isn't the appropriate place to post this, then please move it to where ever it needs to be (and please let me in on where that elusive 'Feedback' forum actually is).

First, I use AdBlocker in Firefox, so this is no longer a problem for me, but before I installed that plugin, I noticed that unsightly ads were appearing on the forum pages, which may or may not have anything to do with this forum's unfortunate acquisition from Internet Brands, or whatever that is. But, for those who haven't installed AdBlocker, or for those using another browser...

I think it would be appropriate to deactivate the advertisements for people who have donated money to this forum, like I have. I'm a life time member here on the forums and quite frankly, I don't think people like me (and especially life time Gold members) should be forced to view those advertisements. We donated money to the forum, so perhaps the forum can show some appreciation and prevent ads from appearing for those people.

It's been several months since I've installed AdBlocker, so I don't know if the ads are even still active. If they are, then please take this bit of feedback to heart.

Thank you.

I believe if you are a supporting member you do not see the ads. That evolved after a couple months of feedback after IB took over.

Okay - if that's the case, (being a supporting member, not simply a supporting "vendor"), then great, that works.
