I get private messages, but not "instant email notifications" on topics Im subscribed to for last 5 weeks. Its not a Corvette Forum issue because it happens on another forum too. Didnt make changes to my email and checked all settings know to me. Any idea?

The first thing I think of is whether your e-mail provider "learned" something and has determined to put these into your spam or junk mail folder. When receiving lots of e-mails from "similar" place, some software learns and considers it to be spam.
i all so have been having this problem.go to top of the page .look for quick links.then schroll down to subsribtions thats where my instant e-mails are going but i do not know how to change it back .

I am not sure what you mean.
Are you not receiving the notifications that you think you should be? Then check your junk/spam folder.
Are you trying to delete the subscriptions? If so click the check mark on the right of the ones you don't want, click the dropdown below that and select delete subscriptions, then press the button.
responds from any threads go to subscribtion threads .but do not come to my e-mail
Have you checked the junk or spam folder? If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express and read yahoo mail (for example), you may need to check the web mail version of yahoo and the spam folder there.
Yahoo is just an example, your e-mail client may be different.
i am using embarq .they have mail filters none are on .this problem started a few weeks ago .nothing has changed on my end.i do not get a e-mail from you to me telling me that there is a responce to a thread .what have i not checked?

The spam may not be the same thing as a filter. Filters will organize incoming mail for you, but sometimes that is a user designed thing. If you are using a filter in the context of embarq, they may use a filter behind the scenes to move suspicious e-mails.
Do you log onto your e-mail from the web? Do you see a spam folder?
Thanks for the reply. I checked my junk folder and spam folder, but forum notifications still arent getting through. Went to my yahoo acount and removed all filter etc. Still having the same problem as of today. Should have gotten a message from them stating message issues and rejected emails, but dont. Any other ideas?

Have you checked your ********@donaldsonorganization.com account? That is the one the forum has you registered with.

I guess I am confused. The forum says you are being notified to you donaldsonorganization account. Earlier you said yahoo account.
Are you checking your e-mail thru the web or are you using Outlook, Outlook express, or another e-mail program from your computer?

According to our company tech service, all email is functioning correctly. My work email is supported by an exchange server and uses Microsoft Outlook 2003. The Yahoo account I mentioned isnt used anymore, although oddly I was still able to log on.
Thanks for your time. If terry82 resolves his issue let me know. In the meantime, I will reset some of my settings.

He said it's happening to him for OTHER forums as well, so...
Make sure your UserCP / Edit Options selections allow you to receive e-mails. Otherwise, still a dead end.
