Default Signature question
How can I get the ability to post animations? I saw in my profile it is turned off. Do I have to become a supporting member? I didn't recall seeing if this option would be turned on if I was a supporting member.

You can post animations just like you can any picture in a post. The picture must be an animation, a gif file, for it to work.

If you need assistance with posting pictures, there are several how-to's shown in the sticky thread area of this help section

Under the signature area in my user CP it says this at the bottom "Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature No". My question would be how do I turn that on?

Mine looks like shown in the attachment. Mine says "YES" there but I have never uploaded a GIF. I have animation in my sig and used the same technique you have used by hosting the GIF at a web site.

I might that option because I am a moderator. I will have to ask around if that is why I have it.

I think the question was about animated files in a signature or profile. The answer, I believe, is the same as for animated avatar images.

Moderators, regional events coordinators and lifetime supporting gold members can use animated gifs. Others cannot.
