trying to design a new avatar like my current test
is there anyway to delete that white outline?

I don't think I've ever seen an avatar with the white border that yours has. I noticed your avatar was saved as a .png file. Can you convert it to a .jpg? Not sure if that will help, but it's worth a try.

I uploaded to a host and posted the http, seems to have done the trick

no i was uploading a 1024x1024 straight off of my HD
it might have been the size or that i was uploading from my HD, tried changing the file type with same results
I resized down to specs and hosted through a different site.
I think the boarder came into play when CF tried to size down my original
