So, from the time I typed www.corvetteforum.com and hit enter, it has taken 17 minutes and 3 "database error" screens to get this far just to type a post. It used to take maybe 1-2 seconds. This forum is unusable, hope IB is giving the supporting vendors a refund. Since the "upgrades" this place is more F'ked up than a soup sandwich. If I dont respond back to this, its because the my recent topics doesnt work either.
Absolutely unbelieveable that this hasn't been fixed! I agree with the previous post on the supporting vendors-can't believe they haven't fled. Surely someone somewhere can figure this out-try another tech source or just shut down until it will work--it's not usable as it is now.
I came here to nag about my recent topics never working as well but i might was well fall in line.
Took me FOREVER to even get into the help & feedback forum. Had to reset my modem thinking that might help but it did nothing.
Over time i've been slowly not using this forum as much but lately it's been even worse. I don't know where i'll go but before too long i'm not going to be here anymore that's for sure.
Long ago it used to be the best...till they got greedy and decided profit was more useful to them then people getting help.

Profit over people has brought down bigger companies than IB. I still think they'll get this worked out eventually but I wonder how many folks we're going to lose first and if they don't get it worked out, I wonder where we're all going to end up. I'm not going to gripe too much though but I'll bet the vendors are really letting them have it.
I couldn't agree more. What a trainwreck this place is right now. I honestly can't think of a website that is slower than CF has been over the past two weeks. Is it ever going to end?
From: Somewhere between mild insanity and complete psychosis
I was able to get here by using internet history to get into an old thread, and then clicking the "corvette forum" quick link that lists all the individua forums, and this thread was in the "last post" slot.
Once again, I CANNOT get into any of the individual forums.

Amazes me how much the IB people really don't seem to give a crap either.......how long has this been? Don't see them explaining anything in here......probably getting a big laugh over all this. Watch supporting vendors rise up and have a revolution, I sure would. Good thing I recently paid for a lifetime membership huh? At this snails pace my lifetime becomes real limited
Please try the following:
Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
Open the forums.corvetteforum.com home page, then try to open another page.
Click the Back button to try another link.
The forums.corvetteforum.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error.
I just went to the main menu page and clicked on Help Forum...of coarse, it didn't download. But, I clicked on this thread and it opened rather quickly.
The same thing occurs on the other C5/Z06 forums...the forums won't open, but the most recent thread in any of the forums will open.
Is there any manner to move forward or backward within a forum once the most recent thread is opened?

Guess they forgot to pay their bandwidth bill? Hosting a bulletin board isn't exactly rocket science. Even a big one like this. Either a code monkey broke something bad, or IB is just being cheap. Too bad they are following typical corporate SOP and not communicating just what the problem is and what they are trying to do to fix it.
