Default Editing Posts

I have suddenly lost the ability to edit posts. Tried to correct a punctuation error today and it keeps telling me to log on and retry.

I was logged on until I tried to edit, once I clicked save it logs me out and tells me to log in and retry.

I checked all my settings in my user cp and everything looks to be set correctly.

I have used the editing feature on this Forum many times without problems in the past.

Help,

Steve

Help,

First things I can think of to try is to delete all temp internet files and cookies from your browser, then log out and back into the forum. Most of the time that gets everything back into synch.

Try doing the same thing in another section (Testing) by creating a thread and post, then try editing it there.

From time to time there are anomalies at this site and sometimes things "fix" themselves after a time.

I clean my temp internet files and cookies after every session.

This happened once before but the post edit came back.

Now it has been gone for quite a while.

Same if you try to edit one in this section? I understand if you hit the edit button it logs you out?

Yea, some of these things just seem to "fix" themselves sometimes

Yes, same in this section. I tried to edit the last message I posted to you and it did the same thing.

Told me I had to log on and try again.
