Why do I have to keep logging in. Up until about a week ago I hardly ever had to log in as I never log out. Now I have to log in several times during the day?

I can't explain that one other than to say yesterday was quite a day around here with forum problems.
The typical things to try is to clear your temp internet files and cache, then try logging back out and into the forum.

Ok I cleared all my cookies, temp files and history again. Hopefully it will work this time.

So far it has made me log in 3 times this morning, so clearing all the cookies, temp files, history and restarting the computer has not corrected the problem.

Try deleting everything again (cookies, temp internet files, and history files) and re-boot your PC.
The same thing happened to me last Spring on another forum and i had to go thru deleting everything. Nothing worked until I did a reboot.

I don't really know what would cause that, but have a few other things to consider just to see if it makes a difference.
1)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
This is a tool that will also clear up some of those temporary files
2) try another browser to see if it does the same thing
3) try another computer to see if it a computer or server thing

Thanks I will try and see what happens, I can do 1 and 2 but both of our computers here are on the same server.

Have you ever logged out? Try logging out first and go thru the steps again.

I'm having the exact same problem for some reason...just started this week. I joined the Forum in 2000, so I am blaming it on Obama.

OK, I tried all the suggestions on this thread, and I still have to re-log into the Forum everytime I come back.

I'm not experiencing this problem. I shut my computer down when I'm done with the Forum. When I start the computer back up, I'm still logged in at Corvetteforum.

Me too. Same problem. Never had it for previous 8 years. Frustrating.
