Forums Replies vs Views
Just a heads up, on most of the forum sections the replies vs views are almost always 1 less. For example...go to the off topic section and look to your right. regardless of the thread their unusually one less. same for most other sections. not normal and just a heads up. been like this for days.

The "replies" will always be less than the views. That's because the OP (original poster) views his own post but does not reply to it. So a Thread starts out with zero replies and one view.

You don't understand what I'm trying to say. If you look at just about any section in the forum, most threads are ALWAYS one less.
For example: This thread you are viewing right now will have two replies and three views. I guarantee there have been more than three other viewers.
Its as if the views count is bugged.

Looks like it's still that way for the most part. Some threads do show a wide variance in the number of post replies and the number of views but the great majority of threads shown in each of the child forums have the number of views as one more than the number of replies.

ps: I just noticed that if you search for your name, it will show the actual number of views for your threads.

I'll ask the tech folks to take a look. Threads that were started some time ago and are still active seem to show a more "normal" replies vs. views ratio.

'View' counts are still showing only one more than 'Replies'. You know a lot more people are viewing threads than take the time to reply.

Funny, I just noticed this today and it certainly is a problem for brand new threads just created. For the most part thread views are always just 1 more than posts. Of course that is highly highly improbable for all but a tiny percentage of threads.

I noticed a blip this morning where the views for a thread I had put up went to 1671, then clicked to another section and back and it was broken again, I was seriously beginning to ponder pursuing becoming a sponser with such small response

Funny, I had the same sort of experience last week.....looked at a thread of mine and it only showed 11 views. Later in the day it showed 459 views, that evening it was back to showing 11 views........strange.
