super slow!

Default super slow!

Got on at 9AM and its taking a couple minutes to load pages.
I hit stop loading a couple times and it opened with 1/2 the sections showing. (I had hit FORUMS)

Other than not working at all this is about the slowest I have seen pages load. Even during the "upgrade" my pages loaded faster.

OBTW I have R.R. and all other sites I visit are working normally!

Same here!


In fact, I simply walked away, and went into the garage to put the snow tires on my wife's car...Then I decided to flush the brake fluid and change the oil.......

Now, it's 4 hours later, and I can get on some of the topics, but others are either really slow, or not loading at all.

I want the old forum back!!

Database Errors are back again, too.

Anyone notice the links have changed as well?

I have spent about 10% of the time I used to on this forum. When I check in same old story. I really think it's all the adds downloading before you can get in and it ain't gonna change.

I disagree...For me, the ads DO load immediately, but even after all that stuff is loaded, moving around on the threads is VERY slow for the last 2-3 days.

Sometimes when things are loading super slowly I see that dam Corvette moving left to right in the middle of the screen. In the middle not up in the normal place at the top.


I wonder if that advertising (PFYC) has anything to do with it.

Mod will you please check out that possibility? I'm miles away from being a geek!

Well, it's the 15th, this topic is now several days old, and I'm still having to wait an unusually long ime for the pages to load.... Obviously, it's a high priority at IB.

I guess no one cares! Its still super slow for me, JUST THIS SITE, NOTHING ELSE. It appears a lot of posters I used to see are not on here now. WONDER WHY!

It appears those moving ads are doing it, but no one answered that post!

Still takes 5-10 seconds for a page to load . . .but there's a post on C6 of a nice blacked-out car, but the guy posted 16 HUGE photos . . .3 would have been sufficient - - -doesn't stuff like that suck up band width ?

Maybe the size of content should be limited to improve available bandwidth efficiency ?

Looks at it this way, if pages are loading quickly, the forum is experiencing issues!

I guess this sometimes extremely slow loading is just going to be a normal occurrence here. Corvettes are fast. Corvette Forum is not.
