PM Alerts?
Didn't the system used to alert via email if one had a pm waiting in their box........seems as if I remember that but old age may be taking its toll

Yes, it is supposed to. Sometimes it will and sometimes it wont' Sometimes the end up in your spam or junk mail folder. There is an option in your UserCP to send those e-mails when PM'd.
