Default vendors multiposting?

Can vendors spam? A certain vendor has recently posted an add in every single subforum. I know us members cannot post multiple threads, but does this apply to vendors?

Depending on the product, event, or certain circumstances, I can see where a vendor would be able to post in multiple forum sections.

If you provide me with a link of one of them, I will get a ruling from our vendor administrator.

"Foxy", are you referring to the wheel vendor that posts about a dozen pictures of cars (many non-'Vettes) with his wheels, every couple of weeks??

The MagDana vendor just seems to plaster the entire forum every couple of weeks. Here is his most recent thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...ory-offer.html

Pewter, I'm not sure what you mean by 5-6 threads int he same section. Does that mean 5-6 threads in, for example, C3 General Discussion?

Based on the vendor guidelines:

"Supporting vendors are granted exclusive use of Corvetteforum to make commercial posts. Unlike some other Internet automotive communities, Corvetteforum allows commercial posting by vendors in a wider variety of sections than just the For Sale sections. You can make your posts in any of the generational sections of the site as well as any of the General Corvette Topics subsections when you have an appropriate product or service for the topic."

I have not "plastered" every forum topic. I have put the ads in topics appropriate to the products. If you look carefully at each topic you have to go pretty far down the list to see the last posting. I have yet to receive a negative comment from the moderators.

Like other supporting vendors, this is how we reach our audience.
