Default Annoying posts - what to do about them

Some of these posts on here are a pain to read because I have to keep on scrolling back and forth to read the message.
Is there a setting on my computer or elsewhere I can change to a post will just fill up my monitor window?

Not on my 'puter?? I don't have to scroll on this thread. I think I have to scroll when there are oversized pics or those damn ads appear in the right corner of the first post.

Reset the resolution on your monitor.

You've been here 7 years and you don't know where to post threads like this?
