Do they even care?
The people in charge of the performance of this website, that is. I know "they are aware of the issues" or "they have been notified" but do they honestly care? It seems like every day is worse than the one before. Are they just hoping everyone will eventually get tired of complaining and accept database errors and connection issues left and right?
This site used to clearly be the fastest, most dependable forum I am a part of. You'd occasionally get an error here and there but it was nothing to even give a second thought about. Now it seems it is just expected. Anyone out there with the ability to fix these problems want to, well, fix these problems?

Has anyone else noticed when you open a thread, the page hesitates until the ad has finished running, then it loads the page.
That operation isn't helping performance at all, running the ad "in my face" before I read the thread.
