More search problems, and a temp solution for members...
I see I'm not the only one having issues with the search feature.
I've been perusing car forums on-line for 20+ years and in fact I'm still a moderator on a few. Most automotive related web forums live or die by the power of their search capabilities and right now CF's is sucking hind tit. I can't even get it to display just the posts I made myself which is a pretty straight-forward query.
Here's what we can do until the CF gets their search capabilities back on track.
Go to Google and click the "Advanced Search" link next to the search box.
On the resulting screen you can enter the search phases, terms, words, or member names you are looking for.
What you want to do next is narrow the search to only the CF forums. To do this simple add "corvetteforum.com" (without the quotes) in the box on the page where it states "Search within a site or domain:".
Just click the "Advanced Search" button after that and reap the rewards.
The page will let you further refine your search even more if need be.
