One of the "perks" of being a Lifetime Gold Member is being included on the Steering Committee to decide Forum changes, rules, policies, content, etc. In the two years that I've been a Gold Level member I have never been contacted even once about anything concerning the Steering Committee or the Forum. In fact, this is the second email on this subject that I have posted. Have things chnaged and there is no Steering Committee?

Post this question in the 'Steering Commitee' sub-forum and see what response you get.

I can't get a response from IB on forum "search" questions!

The "Steering Committee" doesn't really decide changes to the CF, but you do have a chance to provide input to matters. You aren't "contacted" but you can post your ideas or comments there. Only "Gold members get to post in the Steering Committee sub-forum.

The Admins do respond to things that are being discussed in the Steering Committee. Sometimes IB staff will also make comments there regarding discussion items.

On the index page, it's the third section from the top. It's under Supporting Member/Vendor Sections.

How long has it been since someone from IB posted there?? Maybe some one could ask one of them to respond to at least ONE of the threads here about how poorly the site is running.

Actually yesterday, but it was on an unrelated subject.

I don't think that IB staff will be directly responding to already-posted specific questions, at least for now. Once all of the issues have been addressed and fixed, I would like to see something from them that simply states what the problems were and what was done to fix them at least from an IT technical point of view.

I would not expect to see anything posted like a justification as to why they have not responded to our concerns. That's probably a business issue and there will most likely be be some private discussion between IB and the CF Admins. If the Admins choose to post something about that part, that's fine with me but again, if it's a business issue, I don't expect to see anything.
