None of the Tech Tips are currently on-line and the chances are that they won't be coming back anytime soon. In fact, that "service" has never even been updated since around 2003 or so. IIRC, they were on a separate server and it may have been only one or two people that even did the updating back then and Troy may have been one of them.
Some tech tips had pics inserted into the specific topic and it's hard to say if those pics were hosted internally by CF or if they were simply links from other picture-hosting sites or member's own sites. It could be that any pics associated with a give tip would be lost.
But I agree that the Tech Tip section should return in some form. One thing that should be done is a review of any new tip to make sure things don't get replicated, and that the tip is clearly defined for a particular year of car, a range of years or the entire Generation.
Thanks for the update. I really dont need tech tips till I do NEED tech tips. Some people cut and paste into posts. But, I remember using them, and of course they were very helpful.
