Search not working 100%

Search not working 100%
I'm usually in the c6 z06 discussion section and I have noticed that whenever i try to use the search in this forum feature, it usually brings me back to a "sorry, error" message. If I use the advanced search function i get hits but a few that don't make much sense.
I searched for:
454 lethal... nothing
RR lethal 454.... nothing
454 RR.... nothing
It has been going on for a while now with other terms and I figured to go ahead and mention it.

The Advanced Search is not returning results for recent threads known
to exist, including one I created today that turned out to be a dupe
of two others started on the same subject.
My vote is that a DBA might wish to consider maintenance to reindex
the databases.
