Default Post removd from thread

Today I noticed a post I had recently made to a thread was unceremoniously removed without comment - apparently by a mod. I called the vendor who started the thread and asked why he removed my post, and he stated he had no control over the addition/removal of posts to threads. My thread contained a picture of a specific sized wheel on a C6, and I clearly stated that the wheel wasn't purchased from the Vendor but I was just showing how the wheels (as sized) looked on the car. I also provided a link to a thread I started on the subject, in case anybody might have wanted to see more pictures of this sized wheel on the car. At no time did I point any current/potential customer to another competing vendor ... I was just showing how a wheel looked on a car based on a request to see pictures of same.

I sent a private email to Grumpy, as it's relatively difficult to find out just who the mods are (group alias), let alone the one who made this decision.

Any information would be appreciated.

The moderators are listed in the lower right corner of the section you are referring to. My guess is Grumpy, Pewter99 are your primary ones to contact. Since I am not a moderator of that section, I don't know who may have removed it. If you don't get a reply, let me know again and i will forward to an administrator.
