Does anyone else have a problem viewing the pictures that the contributors include in their posts?

For best results in trying to address this question, please provide a few links to those posts where you're having trouble viewing pictures so that we know if it's attachments (hosted locally here on CF servers) or hot-linked (hosted outside of CF's servers - and thus out of their control).

Would also be helpful to let us know what browser you're using.

If you have been seeing them, then suddenly do not, try deleting the temporary internet files from your browser.

Go into your "User CP" (User Control Panel) to make sure you have the appropriate boxes checked for viewing images.

Click on User CP, then go to "Edit Options" and scroll down to "Thread Display Options" and make sure all three boxes are checked:
"Show signatures"
"Show Avatars"
"Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

If you see the infamous red x instead of an image, it may be that the picture that was hosted is no longer available.

I believe you are talking about this thread:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...ust-plate.html

Those pictures are hosted by Photobucket, through the process of hotlinking. Corvette Forums has no control over this, in regard to if the images load or not, as they are not hosted on CF's server.

But c4cruiser has a point that you may have disabled the IMG tag in your UserCP, which means that hotlinked images will not load. Check to ensure you did not do this.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, it could have been a temporary issue between you and the photobucket server where those images were hosted. Or, you may have accidentally disallowed images from photobucket via a security setting.

I just clicked on the link that J T provided while using Windows Explorer 7 and I can see the pics okay. Check the things that c4cruiser suggested.

I checked the User CP and the photo block is checked. I am guessing that the problem is with the security settings here at work. They have really clamped down and I am not just effected on the Forum. Thanks to everyone who responded!
