Not that I'm really interested, but on the "last 10 visitors to this profile", the same names keep showing up even though the number of visitors increases daily. Is there a technical problem?

No. Either the same people visit your profile, or Guests (unregistered, not logged in users) are viewing it. Guest visits will increase the counter, but not leave any change on the user names since Guests are not logged as a user name.
