I have contacted Toyo (primarily) and Nitto in an effort to convince them to add std oem tire sizes to their R888 and 555RII C-compound tire lines. I am hoping the CV mgmt can help by posting it in the upper locked information threads in all the C6 forums. Toyo is listening and sending positive e-mails to me and others. I beleive they have now received well over 150 e-mails.

My canned response that one could send is as follows:

Y'all may cut and past the following and send to toyotech@toyotires.com:

Dear Madam or Sir:

I represent a large group of individuals that request the addition of an R-compound tire in stock OEM sizes for the Corvette C6, Z06, and Viper. The tire we see would include the RA1, R888, or R1R (whichever one offer the best wet and dry traction, lowest noise, best handling, and most comfort). The sizes would include:

325, 335, 345/30R19
275, 285/35R18
285/295/35R19
245/40R18

The market for the R-compound tires is very large consisting of the following cars and production levels per year:

Viper: ~ 2500 per year
C6 Corvette: ~ 17000 per year
C6Z06: ~ 7500 per year

The C6 series has been manufactured since 2005 and will certainly remain for a few more years, maybe 2012-2013. The Viper uses the same sized tires as the Z06.

Thank you very much for your consideration.

Please send e-mails to toyotech@toyotires.com

I hope you can help?
