All of a sudden when I go to the "forums" tab and go to C6 Corvettes, the menu for General, parts, tech, etc. doesn't come up, but a small little box in the upper left corner comes up with just the letters "Ge.." for General Discussion. What's up with that?
I think its your computer. or connection. clear your internet cache, rid your system of all junk/temp files, and defrag.
I'm no expert, but you ought to try that first.

I am having the same problem, and I tried what you suggested and it didnt work. Any other suggestions?
Also, when I go into my profile, the formatting has changed, was that done and I didnt know about it?
It now looks like file folders with a pencil like icon next each entry on my main profile page on each individual page.

See the other thread on this subject. It suggests you clear your browser's cache. Firefox on my PC is set to automatically clear the cache when I exit Firefox. That's probably why I'm not having the problem.

I think this should work for windows users. I had the same problem and did the following: Go to the "start button" in the lower left hand corner of the screen and open. Go to "control panel" and click. Then click on "ïnternet options". Then go about half way down and you'll see "browsing history". There you click on delete and this should help. Also there is a small box you can "check" that says " delete browsing history on exist". This will eliminate the need do go through this regularly. I hope this helps.

I'm not an IE guy, but according to Microsoft's documents, that will delete the links in the address bar of sites you visited - not the cache where the files are stored on your hard drive. You want the Delete Files option, not Delete History.
Reason why it may have appeared to work for you, is you may have a low cache setting and just browsing some sites would have overwritten the previous copy of CF you had in your cache.
You know alot more about this then me. I had the same problem with the sight as the original post and went throught the route I suggested. I used the delete history because it gets rid of temporary files. But you are correct, because I do have a low cache setting and I don't browse that much.

I did what stingray had suggested and it still didnt work, so I did what you suggested, and its all good!
Thanks so much for all of your help. It was so frustrating to have to go to the general forum, then when I wanted to go to another section, I had to start all over again and it took forever!
