Default Finding Moderators??

How do you find the moderators for the forum you are posting in? I wanted to get in contact with one but had to scroll through many threads watching avatars to spot one, not easy.

Is there a way to find out who are the moderators who are on line at the current time? In this way maybe they could refer the appropriate one who is on line.

Their names are listed at the bottom of the first page of titles for each forum.

I vaguely remember seeing a green circle for those that are online, but can't remember where I've seen that.

One way would be to click on the "Quick Links" in the red line, then select "Who's online" after you've already got the names of the moderators for that forum.

Enter the specific forum, then scroll down to the bottom. Near the bottom right section you will see a table with the heading Moderators and below it, the moderators for that specific forum.

If you ever see PostRelease, disregard that account as it's not a real account, nor a Moderator, but for access reasons it has moderator status.

As to telling if a moderator is online or not, you could add them to your contact list to know when they're online. The Whose Online list is made available only to Paid Membership users.

I didn't know that. OP, disregard the last sentence in my previous post.

EDIT: When I clicked on a moderator's name, it took me to his profile page. I think the little roun object next to his name might light up in green if he's online.

OP, go to the forum you're talking about and click on the moderator's name, one at a time, and see if a green circle lights up next to his name when you're looking at his profile.

Check the last line in my previous post for a way to tell who's online. It works. I tried it.

Yes, you can view each moderator's profile, or the icon in their postbit (what you see to the left of each message) to view if they are online or not.

Online:

Offline:

Of course if a moderator is set to invisible mode, you will see the offline icon at all times.
