Sorry, wrong forum. This forum is for help with the forum itself.
Your profile doesn't say what year of Corvette you have. Neither did your post above. Normally, if the moderators know what generation your Corvette is, they will move this thread to that forum.
I've not ever noticed whether the driver's side mirror is darker on my Corvette or not.

2005 if i push button on the mirror its ok but if not my side much darker
Okay, now I think I know what's going on. The driver's side mirror and the interior rearview mirror have the autodimming function built in. It dims lights that shine into that mirror at night, making the mirror look darker. The button on the mirror turns off that function, so the mirror would not look darker.
2005 owner's manual, page 2-34.
Mirror Operation
The mirror automatically changes to reduce glare from
headlamps behind you. A time delay feature prevents
rapid changing from the day to night positions while
driving under lights and through traffic.
P(On/Off): The automatic dimming feature is
automatically activated when the vehicle is started. The
automatic dimming feature is turned on or off by
pressing this button located on the lower part of the
mirror. Press and hold the button for up to three seconds
to turn this feature on or off.
T (Indicator Light): This light will turn on when the
automatic dimming feature is active.
thanks but why is the drivers side darker than the right side
The right side is a wide angle concave (or convex, I can't remember which) mirror. It's the shape of it that causes it not to concentrate the image, thus allowing more light to enter the mirror.
