Default How can I use RSS to read certain forums?

Hello- I just purchased a C6 Corvette, and there are several forums I'd like to follow, but not nearly all of them. I don't see anything on the site about RSS. I pasted the web address for one of the forums in my RSS browser, and it seems like it subscribed to every message in every forum as one big forum.

What addresses can I use to subscribe to just a handlful of forums via RSS?

Thank you!

I'm not familiar with RSS, but here's a link to instructions on how to subscribe to threads in any of the forums.

Thank you Jim. RSS is just a standard protocol that lets you download things like news, forum postings, etc., into an Outlook-like interface so you can keep up to date with a lot of different sources. I figured it out. You have to use the address:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/exte...2&forumids=101

where the number is the number after the hyphen in the link you see when you are in a forum.

Thank you,
Don

Okay, I knew what it was, I just didn't know enough about it to try to tell you how to use it on this forum.

Maybe someone else will provide some helpful information.

Does anyone know where to find the RSS feed for a particular subforum? I need the RSS feed for a particular C5 subforum. Thanks!

Go to the list of forums at the top of the site. Hover over the forum you are looking for and there will be a 3-digit code at the end of each link it wants you to click on.

That worked, thank you!

For anyone else's knowledge who is looking up this thread, you add the 2 or 3 digit code in place of the 3 digit code at the end URL drobins9 posted earlier.
