can't log on #$%
To whom it may concern,
My log in name is Markiemyster. For some reason the last time I opened CF I wasn't already logged in like I usually am so when I tried to post it said I needed to log in. When I did it didn't accept my password so after a few tries I logged on to get a new password and CF sent me a new password. I tried using the new password and it gave me a diffault message saying whatever the 3 statements say when you're rejected. I've done this three times with new password requests and I can't log in.
Do you have me blocked by mistake?
I re-registered under MWJ so I could post this but I want to be able to use my original name so I'm recognized plus I have 1 unread message I want to read. Please help!

Don' t know if this will help you but.......I had similar issues logging in during the past 2 weeks. I discovered that if I check the box for "Remember Me" then everything works fine. I've never used that box before now. Good luck.

It sounds to me you attempted to log in too many times with the improper credentials. There is a setting in vBulletin to activate a lockout on the account and IP address for (I think) 15 minutes. Even if you remember the correct password, or use the password recovery link, you will have to wait out the lockout period.

clear your cookies, cahce/history files, temp internet files and re-establish your link the old links are not working correctly so type it in like its the first time.
