how do i delete a "friend" notification request?

Default how do i delete a "friend" notification request?

i select "reject" request then click on "save changes," but the notification still shows up.

Make sure you place a checkmark in the box for the user. It's not there by default. If you don't, and you click Reject and Save Changes, the system will just forward you on but won't apply changes.
