Default Recent Visitors?

The names never change in the recent visitor portion of my page.
Can it be fixed?

Thanks

This has been that way for months. I only see a new name about once in about 35 times someone has looked. It appears it is not high on the must fix list!

This has been discussed before. It was decided that the recent visitors information was working correctly. It should be noted that guests can visit your profile and the number of visits increases, but their name does not appear in the list of who visited.

There were some other explanations for what caused seeming irregularities, but I've forgotten what they were.

A lot of people have reported this as an issue, but I've demontrated that it works by visiting your profiles and noting my user name instantly updated in your Recent Visitor sections.

Guests who visit your profile will lead to the counter to increase, but the names to not change since Guests aren't a trackable/linked account. In addition, those users who already are listed in your Recent Visitors section that revisit your profile will cause the counter to increase but the names to note change. It is not uncommon for some to bookmark a profile (rather than use buddy list, etc.) to track a user.

As I said above, I visited both your profiles and my user name was instantly updated as a Recent Visitor on each of your Recent Visitors lists.

Thanks

It just seemed strange that the count was 112 and the only names on the list are the first three I ever had.

109 guests ?

The counts are based on Guests (which don't show on your Recent Visitors list), or the same people revisiting the profile. For example, you had 115 when I visited your profile as I typed this. I then revisited your profile 5 more times to make it now 120. Meaning, the same people re-visiting your profile will make the counter increase. So it's not just 109 Guests as you state.
