Default Chat room?

I think there should be a chatroom for the forum.

Haven't been here long, have you? That's what the bar threads in Off Topic are for.

As a matter of fact, that's what most threads in Off Topic are for.

Only 8 months or so.

That's not a real chatroom though. Chatrooms are more people to people and you get much quicker responses if you have a question that really doesn't need a topic, or you need a quick answer too.

There are different formats for different purposes. It's highly unlikely that a chatroom capability would be added here. The current concept is so successful, it wouldn't make much sense to change it.

234,000+ members, 2,260,000 threads, 32,000,000 posts. Hard to argue with that much volume.

That same question that you posted in C6 General has been answered in C6 General. This forum is for help with the forum itself.

Return to C6 General for your answer.

No problem. I wasn't razzing you about not reading it - just letting you know where to find it if you had one.

I think you can download an electronic copy here until you can get a hard copy.

A moderator in the forum where you posted it originally probably moved it, but it wasn't me.

You originally posted it in this section (Help section) which is used for account issues and website issues. Corvette-related technical questions are best suited in the appropriate Corvette sections, which are categorized.

I moved your post from this section (Help section) to the C6 section:

IIRC back in the early days of the forum we had a chat feature...also had a pop up window when you got a new PM

I copied your post/question to the C6 section:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...ver-100-a.html

This section (Help section) is used for non-Corvette questions that are related to the website or members accounts. This section, and this thread, is not the best area to ask Corvette questions as this area is not for Corvette questions.

For your own benefit in order to get more responses to your Corvette questions, please use the C6 section to ask about your C6 Corvette questions:
