Default Keep getting logged out...

If I refresh the page after not navigating around for a couple minutes, I get logged off and have to re-sign in.

Is there a setting to keep logged in until I physically log out?

I recently changed my password and now I'm having this issue. Used to be even if I closed IE and then restarted it I would be logged on to the forums.

Thanks for any suggestions

Nick

I have not been logged off in months. A long time ago when I signed in (name & password) I checked the little box that said "REMEMBER ME"

I also clear all temp internet files & history each time I shut down for the night!

Yep, done all of that.

I used to stay logged on essentially forever. I had to do some digging because I didn't ever remember my password. That's why I changed it and now it logs out every 5 minutes

Thanks for the help

Make sure you select the Remember Me option when logging in. If you do not do so, you will have a "session" login where you will get logged out if you close the browser.

You do not need to delete the History or Temp files. What you need to do is manually delete the CorvetteForum cookie(s). Sometimes, the cookies become corrupt (not just on this website, but can happen on others) and the only fix is to delete the cookies and revisit the website. Usually, it's suggested you just delete ALL your cookies. However, if you delete ALL your cookies, you will lose all auto login, and other preferences, for every website you've recently visited since the last time you deleted ALL your cookies. As there is no need to do that, and it would be an inconvenience, you can simply isolate and delete the CorvetteForum cookie(s) instead.

I always select "Remember Me"

I deleted everything, cookies, temp files, history, etc.

Thanks for the reply

Well, I deleted everything again, closed IE, reopened IE, relogged on and it seems to have fixed it....

JT usually does pretty good if you do what he tells you.
