Is there a way to find all your local, to me ,members of this forum for the purpose of organizing various events?

There are regional sections in the "Upcoming Events and Regional Discussion" section of the Forum.

Look in the "Northeast" section.

You can use the Memberslist. Click on "Other" on the red navbar, "Members List", click on "Search Members", click on "Advanced Search" and then fill out the for City and/or State.

Note the results depend on the user entering in City and/or State in their profile.
