How do I ask moderators a question?

I posted on the C1/C2 general discussion thread. Got no answers.
I emailed all the Corvette clubs in the area where I have reason to believe the former owner lived. Got no answers.
I decided to post to each of the C1/2, C3, C4, C5, C6 General Discussion boards. A moderator locked out all my threads, with no explanation. Some of the threads got comments before the lock (none of the comments were about the former owner). One person suggested I post in the Regional board. I have done that, but let's be realistic: How many people read the regional board compared to the General Discussion boards?
So, here is the question I would like to ask the moderator that locked out all my threads: What rule did I violate? If the previous C1 owner now owns a C6, wouldn't the C6 board be a logical place to look for him/her?

As to your question I think the problem is you posted in sections other than C1/C2 which made the topic irrelevant for that section. Just guessing as I didn't close the threads or remove them.
You could have posted it in Off Topic as well as C1/C2.
I will find out which Mod locked the threads and have them PM you.

I did not mean to do anything wrong. It just seemed a logical way to find someone that used to own a C1 but now owns a CX.
As one of the responders did notice in their reply before the lock, I did post the same thread in lots of different forums. This is because some people only read one forum and no others. I realize a C1 question is not relevant to a C5 owner; but if the previous C1 owner now owns a C5, why would he/she be on the C1 forum? I apologize if this is against the rules.
