Default Not Receiving EMail Notifications

For quite a while now I have not received ANY email notifications of posts on threads I've participated in.

I called myself checking to make sure I'd indicated I wanted to received them and I have.

What's going on?

I've found that guys have been waiting for days to get a response to a question posed to my because I'm not being made aware of the question being posted.

Thanks,

Jake

Your account does indicate you should receive Instant Email Notification when a thread you participate or subscribe to receives new activity.

Have you checked your Spam/Bulk/Junk folder? I see you're using sbcglobal.net as your email provider. I ran a check in the database for new accounts using that provider since the beginning of the month. Of those, the majority are showing up as Regular Members and there are only a small portion that are in Users Awaiting Email Confirmation. What this means is that it appears those who are using sbcglobal.net, and recently registered, must have received email from CF in order to activate their account. If they did not receive the email from CF, or did not act upon the email, they would be shown as Users Awaiting Email Confirmation. Thus it appears email would be getting delivered to others using sbcglobal.net.

I would check your Spam/Bulk/Junk folder.

Thanks, I'll check those folders now and will let you know.

Let's try it again. I may have found the cause of the problem. I found a blocked site from forumsupport in my SPAM LISTING so I unblocked it.

I sent you a test email from the CF forums, so if you receive it, you should be good to go.

Nope, I didn't receive it and I checked my SPAM folder, too.

jcameron266@sbcglobal.net is the email address, but I'm sure you know that already.

I'm at a loss as to what to do now.

I rechecked and there is a few new accounts using @sbcglobal.net that have confirmed their account on their own - which means they have received email from CF.

I cannot really offer much more advise, unfortunately, as it appears to be working for other sbcglobal.net users. You might contact your provider.

I'm getting them now on my desktop PC but still not on my laptop, so it's got to something on my laptop doing the blocking.

Thanks for your help with this; I'll try tracking down the laptop cause.

Default Where to post Corvette cruise, GTGs, pics?

Have have some Corvette cruise and GTG pics to post. They are not generation specific nor do they fit regionals since some cruise pics cross mutiple regions. Off topic seems like the only place for these. Any suggestions? How about a specific place to post these...hint...hint.

Oops wrong place will repost
