Default Two Concerns - Help

1) Recently the format of the all forum pages has changed. How to correct or overcome??? The page is wider than my screen and overflows to RH side.

2) I'm struggling to post photos. Are instructions within forum about the "Attachment" process within the "help portion" still correct??? Both sticky posts of this help forum state one must use something like photo bucket. The photos I see posted don't seem to be links as my test with using photo buket showed in preview. How is the picture shown when post is opened???

Thanks for heelp!!!

Could you post a screen capture showing the issue so that we can see what might be the issue? Also, for reference, what screen resolution are you running?

Larry, the ability to use Attachments is reserved for Supporting Members. You would need to be a Supporting Member to use the Attachments. More information can be found here:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/payments.php

If you don't become a Supporting Member, then you will need to have the photos hosted online, such as Photo Bucket. When you upload a picture to Photo Bucket, get the URL/Address of the location of the photo and paste it in between a set of [img][/img] tag. What this will do is tell the forum software to display the photo within the post. If you don't do this, and simply paste the URL/Address of the photo in a message, it will simply be a link.

The information in the following link, which is located in this forum, should still be valid and is for those who are not Supporting Members and cannot post Attachments.

Larry, my little investigation suggests it may be the advertisement that is found below the "Tags" section when viewing a thread of posts. If I isolate that ad block from the webpage, the page then fits the screen.

However, to be sure, a screen capture would certainly help.

To do so, simply view the thread and hit the Print Screen button. This should copy the contents of your screen into your Windows clipboard. Then, open up a photo editing program and paste the contents and save the file as a jpg. I would do this for the top of a thread, and then do another showing the ad underneath the "Tags" section. If you do can do so, please send me a PM and I'll give you my email address to email me so that I can confirm.

I cannot speak for CF, but 1024 resolution screen is a bit small in today's world and I'm not sure what can or will be done.

Larry, I use Paint to save my screen captures. I think it comes with most Windows operating systems.

Since I need and use reading glasses when I'm on the computer, I don't like making the text very small. So I use a screen resolution of 1280 X 768. It works great for me.
