Cannot See pix!
I checked your account and you do show you've got the Show Images set to Yes.
If there is attachments in the post, you should see them. If there is any images remotely served, and if the owner of those images, or the host, makes any changes, the images may disappear. The latter is an issue whenever content is hosted outside of the community.
However, please provide a specific example so that we can double-check.
Thanks.

I see a lot of the images in that thread are remotely hosted outside of CF. So the explanation I provided above (images hosted outside of CF are outside of CF control and may disappear without any notice) may be the issue.

All you have to do is come *here* with that browser (at its defaults) and you lose all ability to view any pics at all in that instance of IE. It stays broken until you close that window and open a new one (just don't open it here)

You were running unpatched, no upgraded, IE 6. No others reported any similar issue in that thread, or since then, that I can recall or am aware of. It's too early to say that this new thread is the same issue, however, if it were the same issue it would be only the 2nd one in 9 months. All this suggests this issue is unique and isolated. Regardless where the issue may originate, we try to help. I tried to help in the above mentioned thread but I believe you were set on running certain software and versions and we was unable to resolve the issue because of that.
Although Firefox is my primary browser, I, too, have IE 6 and I don't experience the issue you described. Mine is "default" with appropriate patches and no other changes.
Such software is usually in continuous development with bug updates and security patches. You are talking about a piece of software that was initially released in 2001 (IE 6) and SP1 released in 2002. In software, that's ancient.
Despite IE 6 is known to have CSS, and other, issues, it is really difficult to expect outdated, unpatched, software to function correctly despite so many changes in the industry since it's release. If I recall correctly, you did not want to patch your IE 6 and only run from a default installation that is dated back in 2001-2002. In my opinion, this is not wise and is difficult to support.

Except that this is the only site I've ever encountered on the entire internet that hoses that version of IE6 in that manner. The problem is not just unique to that IE6 - it's unique to here as well.
I had to update my main computer to IE-8 specificly to view this site.
(just saying)
Changes were made to this site after the "attack" - one of those changes is behind what I've ovserved.

As I mentioned, we try to help despite where the issue may be (client side or host side), but your case was one where I don't think progress could be made. It's difficult to assist when it appears that outdated software is at play. IE and SP1 having been released in 2001/2002 are quite ancient software, atleast in their unpatched form that you were running, in this industry that can change daily with security and bug issues.
In fact, some of the software on this site wasn't released until quite some time after 2001/2002 when IE6 and SP1 was released. So much has changed between then and now. It's difficult to use software on the client side, without upgrades, to be fully compatible with software on the host side that would be released several years later. Software cannot exactly look that far into the future and be fully compatible.

It remains odd however that of the 100's of sites I've browsed - this is the only one that porks my version of IE6.
Other sites may not work properly with the old outdated software - but they don't hose it so badly that the the only recourse is to close the window if I want to view another site.
Some command is blocking the display of ALL pictures, JPG's, GIF's etc etc.
It's very odd indeed.
