Default "Connection was Reset"

Almost every time I attempt to browse the site a "connection was reset" screen pops up while the page is loading and i am unable to view forums at all. It is almost impossible for me to be active on this site because of this problem. Any ideas what this is? Suggestions on how to stop it?

I got the same problem, wondering if you figured it out and how you fixed it.

FireFox and AdBlockerPlus, especially on any Facebook links.

People have been complaining for about a week. I've had no problems or slow downs at all.

The Facebook script that was resulting in some members reporting issues with browser slow downs was removed on Friday so that it could be investigated. There are still some Facebook scripts that are used for the plugin that allows members to associate their CF account with their Facebook account, but that has been used for quite some time (months). But those reports weren't exactly Connection Reset issues, which is different.

Is the Connection Reset issue happening at any specific days/times?

duescherc, it appears you are on a mobile network. Is this correct?

The problem always occurs (no matter day or time) and I am on a mobile network, however I haven't changed anything since I became a member and this problem started occurring only a month or so ago.

There is no specific day or time associated with the message. It happens constantly whenever I am using the site. I have to load each page numerous times and eventually it will load fully without the message occurring. I do not use Facebook at all if that helps the diagnosis.

The Facebook script that is still in use (which is used so that CF members can associate their account with their Facebook account) has been in use since approximately August of 2009. It is ran regardless if you are a Facebook user or not due to the way the software was written.

The other Facebook script, which was a Facebook button that some reported as slowing down their IE browser, was removed Friday. However, this did not appear to be associated with any Connection Reset errors.

What browser are you using?

Connection Reset errors could actually be the CF end, or your end. There is no standard answer. I've not seen any Connection Reset errors and have not seen any large reports. However, there are some open issues that are scheduled to be looked into.

I normally use firefox but the problem occurs with google chrome as well. I am not very tech savvy so i do not know what to look for as far as a problem on my end. And help or guidance will be much appreciated- this seems like a great community and i would love to get involved but this problem is really slowing me down.
