I cleared the cookies and reloaded the page a few different times but it appears in every section. Or is it just normal advertising on the Forum now?

This was reported earlier and there should be a thread about it in this section.

I went to C6 Gen and did not see any ad that was the second on the list of threads as shown in your screen capture. I don't see it in any of the other sections either.

Supporting Vendors will occasionally post FS threads about their products but they do get replies and comments.

I did a quick search but maybe I missed the thread in this section.

Just seems strange. Thought it was malware/spyware on my PC but that is not the case and as far as I know this is the only forum it happens to me on.

I see it too, using FireFox. IE seems to hide it. So far all of the ones I've seen claim PostRelease is the poster of the thread.

Not sure why so much advertising is showing up.

PostRelease has been used on CF, and similar sites, for a while. They are an advertising campaign. However, my experience was they normally locked/stuck a thread so this may be a different procedure. I'll check into this to make sure.

Glad I looked here. I thought I was having a psychotic break or something?

The bloody "Post release" posts show up and then disappear [ or get cut out??].

It looks pretty shady to me, add that to the Google Chrome issue and it would behoove the owner's to get rid of this random crap?

What is the issue with Google Chrome? I don't really see any reports to indicate there's an issue with Google Chrome? As a Chrome and Firefox user myself, I hadn't seen any issue?

Better one JT what is the issue with getting an answer about Post Release.

Sure I can ignore it, but if I dreamed up a way to post the way this rag does, you'd clean my clock and send to camp So what's up ?

WHY do they get this privilege to force feeding the Forum members this NON LINK garbage?

This is becoming more of a WHY no answer about Post Release than the fact they are dirtying up our playground?

How about a plain direct answer from the High Exalted Imperial Owner about this? Simple courtesy , have someone who knows answer a simple question

An answer was initially provided in the following link:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1577453521-post5.html

The only thing I can say as to why they have the privilege to do what they do is because they're part of the advertisement programs that help support the site.

TJM: We don't allow pop-ups. If you spot one that has slipped in through a third-party advertiser or any other questionable offer from a third-party advertiser, send us a link and we'll check it for compliance with Forum rules.
