I know I'm probably missing something here but, how do you attach photos to a post? I have a couple of photos of the clevis repair that I did that I would like to share with anyone interested but don't know how to do it. Thanks. Jim
On the main menu page towards the bottom is the Help Forum. You should find past threads there on this topic...and any topic that has to do with how to use forum software.
Thanks TR6speed and all others who replied. I think I'll just not post any pics. This system is by far too unnecessarily cumbersome. The forums should be able to just click on a "browse" button and select the photos from their computer, without having to establish other accounts and doing a bunch of cutting and pasting. I appreciate the help.
If the OP had looked at the top of the page when creating a new thread, he would have seen his answer.
A similar message is in the top section of most of the forums.

Jim,
If you want to pay a fee to post and read here, then I'm sure they would increase server size to store the 100,000s of pictures posted on CF.
Since many are computer challenged, they often post pictures that are 1 Mb, 2 Mb, and more in size. While disk space for you and me is cheap, remember they have to have that space several times over, so there are backups, mirror images so everyone can access it at once, and so on. Not to mention the bandwidth of passing that data over their server so that you get it quickly instead of each page in CF loading at 30 seconds a page or slower.
I believe most forums you go to will be the same.
This isn't eBay.

Another reason the forum setup is that way is to allow paying members to embed their photos directly in their post by using a button below the posting window call "Manage Attachments."
